6 products on one compliance platform for aged care and NDIS Project

What it is

Ozler Care Solutions is an Australian RegTech company building a compliance, training and workforce-credentialing platform for aged care and NDIS providers.

My research analysis of the sector’s regulatory obligations and provider market defined six products: Skill2Care, OzlerShield, OzlerReady, OzlerSIRS, OzlerPolicy and OzlerPass. Project

The six products

  • Skill2Care™, Training & Competency. Train workers once. Carry the credential everywhere. Care-sector training built for Australian aged care, NDIS and home care: theory delivered on-device, practical sign-off captured by a registered nurse, and every credential passed to OzlerPass and OzlerShield as verified evidence.
  • OzlerShield™, Workforce Intelligence. Your workforce, always audit-ready. No more spreadsheets. No more surprises. It watches every credential, every worker, every day. A worker whose credential has expired is blocked from the roster until it is renewed, and the evidence for an audit is ready in one click.
  • OzlerReady™, Reform Readiness. Audit-ready, every day — not just the week before the auditor arrives. It scores a provider against every supporting action of the Strengthened Quality Standards and every NDIS Practice Standard Quality Indicator, so gaps surface the moment they open and the evidence assembles itself.
  • OzlerSIRS™, Incident Response. Capture in 90 seconds. Triage in minutes. Report within 24 hours — every time. It walks any staff member through a structured incident capture on their phone, suggests the classification, runs the 24-hour countdown and prepares the submission that the provider’s designated officer files through the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission’s or the NDIS Commission’s portal.
  • OzlerPolicy™, Standards & Policy. The policy library that comes with your platform. Policy templates for the Aged Care Act 2024, the NDIS Practice Standards and Support at Home, written by Australian registered nurses and clinical educators and mapped to the regulatory framework. When a rule changes, it flags the policies affected and drafts revisions for human review.
  • OzlerPass™, Portable Credentials. The credential wallet that travels with the worker. It holds AHPRA registration, NDIS Worker Screening, a police check, first aid, training records and RN-signed practicals, all source-verified, dated and signed, in the worker’s pocket. Employers verify them through OzlerShield, or through a secure share link.

What it does

As designed:

  • Governed AI. Reporting under the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) and policy generation, both assisted by retrieval-grounded LLM workflows over regulatory sources. Prompts are versioned, the workflows are evaluated and monitored, and a person reviews anything before it reaches a regulator. Every AI feature inherits these guardrails.
  • Credentials. An event-driven lifecycle issues credentials from training and sweeps for expiries. A facility portal shows the credentials of the staff allocated there.

How it is built

I wrote the platform’s Solution Architecture Specification: version 2.2, 79 pages and ten diagrams, with a documented trade-off for every major decision, revised after a formal technical review. Reported

I lead the build: a Turborepo and pnpm monorepo of NestJS services, a Next.js web app and a React Native (Expo) mobile app on PostgreSQL, provisioned with Terraform and shipped through GitHub Actions on Azure. Sign-in uses Azure AD B2C with OAuth 2.0, PKCE and MFA, and Row-Level Security isolates each tenant.

Stack. Azure, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Turborepo, pnpm, NestJS, Next.js 15, React 19, React Native (Expo), PostgreSQL 16, Redis, Service Bus, Blob Storage, Azure AD B2C, Key Vault, Front Door

Where it stands

The platform is in build. My analysis also sequenced the launch and modelled infrastructure cost at about $1.25k a month in production. Reported No customers, users or live products are claimed here.

My part

As Head of AI Architecture and Research Analysis, I designed the AI workflows and the data architecture. I run architecture and design reviews with an external technical reviewer and the development team, and set the engineering standards.
